About
Physics first, then code.
I started in physics, which mostly taught me how to sit with a hard problem until it makes sense. Software turned out to be the same job with much faster feedback, so I switched.
These days I work freelance. Most of my time goes into reviewing and fixing other people's codebases, and the rest goes into apps I'm building from my own ideas. The work I like best is being handed something tangled and figuring out what's really going on.
